Well, hellooooo, lovelies. I know, it’s been a while. In fact, except for Author Heather McCorkle’s cover reveal and a couple of posts on my writing blog, I’ve been MIA since Christmas. So, um…

I hope your holidays were wonderful. We had an eventful holiday break here at Casa del Cook. Some high points and a few low points, but overall, a really memorable time that created some solid bonding moments between The Boys, The Man and me. I love my family and am blessed to have them, even when things get rough.

Since then, I’ve been elbow-deep in writing and 2013 planning. September through December were life-changing for both me and my business partner/publisher, creating lots of adjustments for both of us to make. It’s all been good, though, and now we’re ready to forge through 2013.

And I finished a book!!! Woohoo!!!!! No, it’s not a Soul Savers book – please, pretty please don’t be mad. I know many of you are waiting (im)patiently for Book 5, but I’ve been wanting to write this new book for a over a year, started it Spring 2012, but had to put it aside for Power. Then I started it over for National Novel Writing Month in November and finally finished it last week. I’m over the moon with how it turned out and hope you love it as much as I do.

I have other big news to share, too. We have so many exciting things planned for 2013! The new series, more Soul Savers, lots of events and traveling, and a special surprise later this year. I even have a title, release dates and more to share with you!

Yeah, it’s a big but (not to be confused with a big butt, though I have that, too).

Newsletter subscribers always get the details first. Fortunately, it’s really easy to subscribe. Just enter your email address in the box up there (upper-left corner) and voila! You’re subscribed. Hurry, though. The newsletter will be going out this week.

Don’t worry. I’ll share news here, too, just later. In the meantime, I’m off to work on Soul Savers Book 5. Based on where it’s going already, I think it’s going to be a doozy! Can’t wait to find out what happens. *wink*
