Since I’ve been somewhat dark here on the blog, I have a bit of catching up to do. There’s a lot to share, so this is just to get us started. More to come later. First off, I hope you had a Happy Easter! It’s such a special day for my beliefs so I find it hard to “celebrate” it appropriately. We haven’t really gotten into the commercialism of the holiday for years. I believe it’s a day to appreciate the gift we’ve been given through Christ’s sacrifice, as well as the intangible blessings bestowed on us. Mostly, for me, … Continue reading

As I mentioned last week, my little goat-cheese-making adventure didn’t go quite the way I expected. It all turned out fine – quite deliciously, in fact – but I thought I was doing it all wrong. So how did you know when the milk was heated enough?” Cassandra: “By look and smell. … Continue reading

Don’t forget to check it out…after you’ve read today’s tease, of course. If you missed previous pages: Page 1Page 2Page 3Page 4 Page 5: Andrew returned his attention to Zoe. He’d saved her soul, but those creatures still appeared intent on taking what remained of her life. Through the veil, he heard them discussing whether to let … Continue reading

I have to admit, since my kids are older and we never get trick-or-treaters (watch – they’ll show up tonight since I didn’t buy any candy knowing I’d be the one eating it), Halloween doesn’t quite feel the same as usual. Especially since everything was more focused on the boys’ Homecoming activities this weekend. But anyway… Happy Halloween to You!!! Have a Spooktacular Day!!! Today also happens to be Tristan’s birthday. He is officially…*mumble mumble*…years old. So he doesn’t like to announce it all over the place. He doesn’t like his birthday at all, as a matter of fact. But … Continue reading
